Summary:
This position is responsible for working with the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (KOVR), the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work Program (SSA's TTWP), and businesses within our community to help individuals with disabilities overcome barriers to employment, achieve their vocational goals, and improve their quality of life.

is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine the vocational needs of individuals with disabilities.
Develop individualized vocational rehabilitation plans for clients.
Provide counseling and guidance to clients to help them overcome barriers to employment.
Coordinate with other service providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive services.
Provide job coaching and support to clients in the workplace.
Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Develop and distribute communications about the organization and its mission, priorities, importance, programs, and activities to counselors, vendors, supporters, and employees.
Network and build relationships within the community supporting CSP, Inc.
's mission, clients, and employees.
Participate in community outreach and fundraising efforts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires:
frequently sitting in chairs for up to several consecutive hours per day; walking, climbing stairs, and standing; lifting and/or carrying up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 25 pounds; nearly continuous communication with others in the spoken and written English language, in person, via telephone and computer, and in writing, throughout each day; using computers, telephones, and other office equipment throughout each day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job requires working in common office conditions, using common office equipment (computers, phones, fax machines, etc.
), including daily attendance to the employee's duties.
This job also requires occasionally working in field environments (including outdoor work at rest areas) and at third-parties' offices (e.
g.
, the State's offices).
This job requires working and being available during the Company's usual office hours, both in the office and in the field.

Requirements:
Associate degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Social Work or a related field or two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training; or a similar combination of education and experience.
Community Partner Work Incentive Counseling Certification (employer will provide successful candidate the opportunity and training to achieve this certificate).
Certification as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred, but if not a CRC, then successful candidate must complete the Supported Employment Core Training Series with KOVR (within 90 days of hire).
Suitability Clearance with SSA (must be completed within 30 days of hire).
Knowledge of disability-related laws and regulations.
Strong counseling and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
This position requires frequent travel within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, all of which should be possible using public roads.
The employee must provide his or her own transportation for such travel.
Significant overnight or out-of-state travel is not likely.
Mileage will be reimbursed at the current federal rate for any business related travel.
Compensation details:
20-30 Hourly WagePIea53e7dbdbcd-26289-34368893.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
